Songmakers Australia are proud to be supporting Florian Boesch (bass-baritone) & Malcolm Martineau (piano) in their Great Performers recitals at Melbourne Recital Centre.

The international duo will present the three great Schubert cycles across three evenings. Artistic Director Andrea Katz will present an illustrated exploration of the evening's song cycle with the core members and guest artists of Songmakers Australia prior to each recital.

Each recital begins at 7.30pm, with the lecture-presentation from 6pm in the Salon.

Monday 6 July - Die schöne Müllerin: Nicholas Dinopoulos & Andrea Katz. Songs include Du bist die Ruh, Nacht und Träume & Wanderers Nachtlied.

Tuesday 7 July - Schwanengesang: Merlyn Quaife AM, Nicholas Dinopoulos & Andrea Katz with guest Songmaker David Thomas (clarinet). Featuring Die Taubenpost and The Shepherd on the Rock.

Wednesday 8 July - Winterreise: Merlyn Quaife AM, Nicholas Dinopoulos & Andrea Katz with members of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music Vocal Ensemble. Repertoire includes the Scene from Faust and Gretchen am Spinnrade.
